Eulalia had a bump on her neck, and like everyone else she hoped it would go away. Seven years later, her bump had grown into a grapefruit-sized pulsating mass. Her doctor at La Amistad Community Clinic recommended she have it surgically removed, but, because she was uninsured, she resigned to the fact that she could not afford to do so. However, thanks to the efforts of AccessOC program coordinators, Dr. Tuchler, and the volunteers at Kaiser Permanente- Kraemer/ Anaheim Medical Center, Eulalia was finally treated on October 1st, 2016. For those with limited access to healthcare, even a relatively simple procedure like Eulalia's can be a life changing gift.
