Kaiser Permanente once again partnered with AccessOC to coordinate our biggest surgery day since we started in 2005. This is their 14th surgery day over the last nine years! The wonderful medical volunteers and surgeons performed 14 colonoscopies, 14 cataract surgeries, and 10 general surgeries at the Irvine Medical Center.
We had over 100 medical volunteers as well as 12 community volunteers there to support our efforts. Many of whom have done more the five of these events at Kaiser, some more than ten! The dedication of volunteers like these is what keeps our program successful and growing! We are so grateful to all of our volunteers and the planning committee for making these life-changing surgeries happen!
