Aiko currently directs strategic initiatives in healthcare for AccessOC, a program of Illumination Foundation (IF) and is a founding Board Director of IF. Aiko holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from UCLA, Certification in Biotechnology from CSUSM, and earned Dean’s List honors in Healthcare MBA from UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business.
Noemi Grabiel, Program Manager
Noemi joined AccessOC in 2012 and currently oversees patient care coordination and surgery days. Through her work experience and specialized training, Noemi is qualified in the areas of customer service, bilingual communications, volunteer management, bank systems and accounting.
Ashley Neppl, Program Coordinator
Ashley started as an AmeriCorps Fellow for AccessOC in 2015 and at the end of her term, joined as a full-time staff member. As a program coordinator, Ashley works closely with patients, hospitals, clinics and volunteers as well creating financial and data reports. Ashley received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Northern Arizona University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Public Health.
Elizeth Manzo, Program Coordinator
Elizeth joined AccessOC in 2013 and is currently responsible for the care coordination of patients and hospitals. Through her work experience and specialized training, Elizeth is qualified in the areas of customer service, bilingual communications, and medical billing. Elizeth also holds an AA degree in Business Administration from Santa Ana College, CA.
Melissa Trejo, AmeriCorps VIP Fellow
Melissa's focus as an AmeriCorp's Fellow is volunteer infrastrucutre and is the point of contact for all volunteer activities in office and at healthcare events such as Surgery Days. Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.
Sapphira Ha, Healthcare Program Coordinator
Sapphira is Illumination Foundation's Healthcare Program Coordinator and works closely with the AccessOC team to provide staff support for Surgery Days and as needed. Sapphira holds a master's degree in Public Health from California State University, Long Beach and is a certified health education specialist.
